Alan Smith 'Move' Backed In Poll

Vital Villa asked if you would like to see Alan Smith at Villa Park after the Manchester United (and former Leeds United) striker was linked to a January move to Villa Park.

35% said he was exactly what we need and a further 40% said they would like to see him at Villa but there are better options.

75% backing, not bad!

15% said he would be ok, but only ok for Villa and 9% said no leaving just 1% who were unsure.

I read that he's pretty adamant that he'll be remaining at Old Trafford to fight for a first team spot. Of course that isn't set in stone, and an attractive enough club/offer might just be able to tempt him away.

Would Ferguson want to offload him, even on loan, with Utd challenging on all fronts?
