Villa Can Finish 4th

Vital Villa asked if Stiliyan Petrov was right when he said Villa can 'do an Everton' and clinch 4th spot this season.

28% said yes and a further 38% said it was a long shot but we could possibly do it.

5% said we'd do it next season once some money had been spent on the squad but not this season and a further 15% said we were more likely to qualify for the Uefa Cup this term.

That left 13% predicting 7-10th and 1% asking 'how the hell do I know!?'

tall order this season but then again, there are loads of teams up and down with form and despite our injuries, we are staying consistent. What an amazing thing it would be if we did hold on! It will in my opinion depend on who we can bring in during the January transfer window, a bit more quality and who knows?

With Liverpool nowhere to be seen then you should def finish top 6! always tight outside of the top 3/4!!

I went 7th-10th (8th to be exact. lol) But if we spend a few bucks in Jan I might revise that conservative estimate.

i think its between villa portsmouth and bolton for 4th spot. tough call, nogt sure if villa would handle champions league just yet, but if they did get it, god only knows what sort of money mr randy geezer would through at it.
PUREGOLD
why not, Everton did it and Spurs should of last year so why not us?
silkie villain
it'll be tough, liverpool will regain their form sometime hopefully not that soon! also youve got the likes of bolton and maybe spurs that could nick that spot!
samc
its out of us tottenham bolton liverpool everton and pompy have a good chance i ws thinking next year will will but if we carry on spend a decent amount of money then who knows it coulb be this year!

I'll be doing my best, cheering them on home and away, in the hope that we can finish top ten. Anything on top of that in view of the decline of the club over recent seasons will be a huge bonus.

Top four is though sytretching it. We're simply just nowhere near that level right now, despite an encouraging season to date so far.
