General Charles Krulak On Vital

General Charles Krulak, one of our new non-exec directors at Aston Villa FC, has been on the Vital Villa forum this week having a chat with the fans.

What a positive sign it is to see the directors interested enough to talk to the fans that they actually travel around our main sites forums and say hi!

As he says in the one thread, the RAL group are trying to use actions not words and at the moment, especially with the Holte Hotel being re-developed and the free transport to Chelsea, the actions are very much to our liking!

The most impressive thing is not that he has been on the forum, but he is a general.....you boys better behave!!

Surely even the doubters, and no doubt there has to have been one or two out there somewhere, have to have been won over by the early actions of Mr Lerner, General Krulak and co?

Hi Jon -great innovation -would be nice to develop it - perhaps you are thinking about it already? What about a periodic "chat-show" on "Vital" using video straming. Punters could email questions to players, directors etc? -or perhaps you might have a word with The General -I'm sure they'll be on to this in the States.

I dunno... I go away for a few days and the General comes on for a chat! Amazing!

Hello General. There is a someone using this site called - voiceoftheholte. You could do a lot worse than contacting him and offering him the job as the Marketing Manager down at Villa Park. I know for a fact he is local. Was a shareholder and he and his family all have season tickets. He seems to have a very positive outlook on the club and a range of innovative ideas on how to fill Villa Park and encourage maximum investment in to the club. I also believe he is a vey nice man!! I second that. VOTH is probably the most inspiring, positive site user. He always talks sense and every time I read his posts it makes me want to buy another season ticket, just for the hell of it. Get this man a job at VP, he is an inspiration to us all. I am happy to join in any campaign to install VOTH as 'Voice of the Villa'. Make him Marketing Manager and I think he will have VP rocking in no time. VOTH you can father my children.

Thank you utv-sotc. It was tongue in cheek but I do work in the media field and all my dealings with the Villa under the previous regime were notoriously difficult. And I do feel I could do a better job than the current incumbents. I think that we all believe we could make a difference and would jump at the opportunity to do so. I want the same as all Villa fans. We can let M'ON get on with his job with full confidence, it is up to us as supporters to do our bit to make VP the fun, vibrant place that not only the fans want to come to, but so do the best players.

Ellis and Stride have to be choking. Catering for the supporters? Never.
