Jonathan Fear has said he would like to sign a long term deal to get free season tickets at Villa Park. He also wants to marry Rachel Stevens and plans to retire to his home planet of Zarg. Rachel Stevens was unavailable for comment, the Zargians meanwhile don't want him back.

Martin O'Neill says that contracts these days aren't worth the paper they are written on (a theory I'm about to test as I'm going to refuse to pay my MBNA bill this month!) and that he would hate to be doing badly and sitting there on a deal with four or more years to go, he said that would be 'embarrassing' and although he didn't rule out signing a long term deal at Villa, he didn't see it as a priority. I was at the Martin O'Neill forum last night at The Longbridge Social Club presented by Capital Gold which is aired tonight at 7pm on 1152am. It is well worth a listen as the Villa boss was top value and although he didn't exactly have much to do to convert the fans who already love him, he certainly made a fantastic impression. About time the youth academy got some good press. Sid Cowan’s and Tony Mac have done wonders for the Villa kids and were left out in the cold by that fool DOL. He wouldn't even acknowledge them when they met at training yet loved to say he brought through kids.

Yes there's some new young faces breaking through. I'm certainly impressed with young Adam NcGurk. He looks to be the real deal.
