O'Neill On The Chelsea Cup Draw

O'Neill On The Chelsea Cup Draw

Martin O'Neill says Villa have the most difficult draw of them all in the Carling Cup as we face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

He told the official site that Villa will give it there all:

'We couldn't have asked for a more difficult draw. Chelsea are a great side and they have a massive squad to draw upon. Regardless of what side Jose Mourinho decides to put out, it will be a very difficult tie. But we're still in the competition and we'll travel there and give it everything we've got.'

MON will be giving this loads of thought, the difference is we will not roll over and die this season. Chelsea wont be jumping through hoops at the prospect of facing a revitalised VILLA

No, we won't! Aren't we supposed to be getting Accrington Stanley at home in the early rounds of this, not Blackburn away and then the Prem's only unbeaten side (albeit at home)?! MON's doing a great job, showing the value of a quality Manager by turning you from relegation favourites to European challengers overnight! Wonder if the FA's watching?! Anyway, good luck to you (apart from on 8th Nov of course!)!

Take the game to them, lets give it a real shot. We could have had an easier draw, but what the heck. Their proud home record has to go sooner or later. Take our chances when they come our way, defend stoutly, and who knows?
