Bring On The Blues

Gabby Agbonlahor has echoed what a lot of Villa fans are saying. Well he would, he is one of us! Oh, and talking about one of us, on loan (at Stoke) midfielder Lee Hendrie was with the Villa fans last night cheering on the boys and going mad celebrating our goals. That might shut the minority who call him a blue nose up?!

Talking about the Blues, as Small Heath and Villa both progressed to the last sixteen, what could be better than a local derby at Villa Park? It would certainly be an education to Randy and the General!

Gabby has declared, 'Bring on the Blues!'

Adding: 'We want a home draw in the next round and I think the fans would love a derby with Blues at Villa Park. That would be a special occasion, but we'll be happy with anybody at home.'

COME ON YOU LIONS!

A home game vs Blues would certainly be a big experience for Randy and co. If they think we've been loud so far they aint seen nothing yet!

When I saw that we both got through that was my tinking but with our luck in the cup venues we will probably get an away game at manure land.

Better still, a Villa - Blues final!
Reddi!
ooh playing blues in the final now that would be classy :D

Maybe it is me but I am happy getting drawn against the smallest, weakest club left in the competition all the way to the final. So whilst a game against the dildo sales men from small heath would provide talkability and excitement, I am happy getting there with no injuries, no suspensions and the minimum fuss. After all when you look in the trophy cabinet in a few years times I just want to see 'League Cup Winners 2007 - Aston Villa'. And I for one are happy to do that the easiest way possible.

Agree with voth. Notts County at home would do me. Wouldn't mind anyone at VP, but playing small heath might be tempting fate just a little.

Well we got 'The Blues', trouble is its the wrong 'Blues', the 'REAL Blues'. Oh well.
glensider
Oh s**t chelsea away... if we can beat them at least we know we can win the competition!

See what happens when you say Blues!! It could mean Chelski, Everton, Ipswich, Leicester, Pompey, Cardiff, the dildo sales men from small heath etc. There are so many teams called Blues. However there is only one Villa. Bring on chelski. They may be destroying the very fabric of the game by trying to buy every trophy in site, but this is the year of the lion. UTV
