Whittingham Available For Loan

21 year old Peter Whittingham will, according to David O'Leary, be allowed to go back out on loan 'if someone comes in' for him.

Whittingham was returned early from his loan spell at Derby County. The England U21 midfielder made 11 appearances for the Pride Park outfit and wasn't due back until the middle of December. However the Rams have cut short his 3 month loan period after the player failed to be part of their squad for the last three games.

O'Leary said; 'If we get someone else asking to take him on loan we'll send him out on loan to give him games. Burnley and Derby have sent him back but if someone comes in we will send him out on loan.'

Which suggests O'Leary doesn't rate the player and despite constantly telling us about the 'small' albeit 'honest' squad, Whittingham won't be featuring in his plans.
