Stuart Taylor On Standby For Spurs

Scans have confirmed that Thomas Sorensen hasn't broken his collarbone in international duty for Denmark.

The official site says that the extent of his injury, picked up in the 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland, is still unknown but doesn't appear to be as bad as first feared.

Stuart Taylor is on standby to deputise on Saturday in the Premiership game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Taylor last played in the first team 11 months ago in the 3-1 loss to Manchester City.

Yea there, the best defender in the country is out for Croatia game and is doubtful for the game on Saturday. Oh well looks like one of the brightest prospects in England will be stepping in, Tommy Huddlestone.
ScottDaYid

anyway, avoiding the temptation to join the elaborate abuse, back on the subject. all the best to Taylor if he does play. he's a quality keeper and the way were defending, he will be well covered at the back, even so, get well soon tommy !

Will be nice to get a look at Taylor, especially after the debate last month over whether he should replace Sorensen. He looked a bit shaky at Man City last season, but if anyone can get the best out of him then its MON
Geordie_Villa
My leicester mate reckons he's a quality keeper. his trouble is he's never really had an extended run (which he did at leicester). you would be hard pushed to find a reserve keeper who didnt look a tad nervy in his first game back, take cudicini, until cech turned up, he was probably the best keeper in the prem, but when he played for them earlier this season he looked rusty. as i say though, our defence will protect him.
bobbyfett
don't forget Dawson!!!!! Huddlestone, no better than ex U21 Ridgewell, Roultledge so good he gets loaned out everywher is no better than Gabby or Whittingham ( 1 current and 1 ex U21)Jenas is just Crap Steven Davis is different class. lennon I grant you is very promising, and both Baros and Angel are more acomplished interational players than Defoe. oh and Sorensen weighs half as much as Robinson and is as good if not a better keeper, Ledley is quality, but so are Mellberg and Laursen.... end of!
fatloser
Stuart will do o.k. Spurs couldn't beat us with me in goal.
