Best Player Of The Season So Far?

Vital Villa asked who our best player this season has been so far, in a poll suggested by industrial_musical.

No shocks here really, 52% voted for our captain Gareth Barry.
18% said Juan Pablo Angel.
11% said new signing Stiliyan Petrov.
9% went for young striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.
8% voted for the bearded wonder Olof Mellberg leaving 2% saying 'other'.

he was brilliant last season for you against us in the FA cup and the games on sky i have seen he seems to have carried on his good form ... great player and fully deserved !

agreed with comment on gabby .... its great to have a player who can run at opposition defences. Fair play to Barry though - it amazes me how he manages to drift past players with no change of pace

Pure class on the grass, nuff said. and yes Deano they are, but hopefully McLaren will escape his middlesbrough obsession and sign a real player. UTV

I think they didn't include Ridge to make sure that Barry won. Think it would have been close otherwise.
