Will Milan Baros Cut It?

Will Milan Baros Cut It?

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested originally by shirdi in the forum), will Baros cut it?

I am assuming he meant 'it' as in football, not his hair.

On that basis, 44% said he will get better as he gets match fit.

19% said he will cut it and will be our top scorer this season and 18% predicted he will come good now he looks set to start following the injury to Luke Moore (although that was before the arrival of Chris Sutton).

On the flipside, those that aren't huge fans split their votes as:

7% saying he is average and overhyped.
6% said he doesn't look interested enough and 6% say he's not good enough and should be sold.

Baros said recently, despite interest from German team Hamburg, 'After an interview with Martin O'Neill I decided to stay and I will fight on. I have to say the club is going in the right direction. We have new owners and in the winter, some new players are expected to come.'

Big vote of confidence for Milan then with approximately 80% behind him. Just hope he doesn't let his loyal fans down now! I'm predicting a goal for him vs Spurs.

As for the new poll, gotta be Gareth Barry, despite playing in 2 positions he's been consistantly good and very influential on games.

he has consistantly scored goals when fully fit so no reason he cannot cut it ... as for his hair , god i wish he would !!

I'm not able to comment on hair - i've lost mine!!!! Agree Barry is da man (see, I'm down with the kids). I think Baros, given a run and if he can gain full fitness, could be awesome for us now we have a team capable of supplying the through balls and crosses. Hope he does the business, we need a hero or two.

I think he can cut it as his fitness improves my only worry is he doesnt look comfortable somtimes in front of goal he would rather pass than shoot. but hopfully MON will change that and give him confidence.

I like Baros, rate him, but he'll be out of the club come January, or the summer of 2007 at the very latest.
