Cleveland Browns Historic Comeback

OAKLAND -- Young players bring a lot to a team. For instance, when you're behind by nearly 20 points late in the second quarter and your season is in greater trouble than ever before, their youthfulness exuberance and enthusiasm can keep the club from giving up. But on the other hand, at times when less is more, their inexperience causes them to try to do more than they should, which results in the team getting less than it should out of a good situation.

In the end, though, it all worked out Sunday for the Browns, who put on a historic comeback to edge the Oakland Raiders 24-21 at McAfee Coliseum.


By the second quarter, the Browns, who'd lost 3 on the trot in the league, were 21-3 down but ended up winning 24-21. (They did the same in 2002 after being down the same and winning by the same margin against the New York Jets).

I wish someone would have a word with Sky or Channel Five and get a Browns game shown over here!

Good to get a win on the board in any sport. Lets hope the Browns can push on, they need a good season like the Villa. Be nice for the Villa players not on international duty to fly over and have a look ? And vice versa.
