Juan Pablo Angel Backed For Pens

Juan Pablo Angel Backed For Pens

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by MCMLXXXII, who should take the penalties for Aston Villa.

Looks like Juan Pablo Angel has had a massive thumbs up because despite his weakly taken (but still converted via the re-bound) penalty against Scunthorpe, 48% still say he should be our penalty taker.

31% backed Stiliyan Petrov and 16% said Gareth Barry should take them.

Just 2% said Luke Moore and 2% Steven Davis leaving Milan Baros with a mystifyingly low 1% of the vote.

YOU MUST BE MAD! Angel's crap at penalties. Barry alll the way, i know he's missed a few but Pablo really is poor with pens

Barry and Angel are both poor at pens. Give Petrov a go, I'm sure he wouldn't miss.

I'd personally go with Gareth's power any time, but as long as JPA tucks them away, who cares?

Thinking about it more, theres not too many players whose penalty taking capabilities we know of. Would imagine though that Stan Petrov could step up if needed.
