Aston Villa To Enter Dreamland?!

Aston Villa To Enter Dreamland?!

Villa fans pinch yourselves, we are about to enter dreamland!

In an article by Janine Self in the Sun, Martin O`Neill says that Randy Lerner will 'put his heart and soul into the club'.

O`Neill had a meeting with Randy this week and explained: "The meeting went really well. He took me up to see the new training ground on Thursday and by Friday morning I arrived to find the builders are ready to go — now that`s quick.'

ACTION? AT VILLA? Whatever next? No more spin, no more bluster, just people who are set to do things and do things well.

"He wanted to show Villa fans he`s going to do what he set out to do. He came up to Scunthorpe in midweek and really enjoyed it. He came into the dressing room and he knows the players, which is great. He`s really excited. I may have read this hopelessly, but I think it`s a football excitement rather than a business excitement. His heart and soul is in it."

The report also says Lerner will return to the UK next month and talk over transfer budgets with O'Neill. "He wants to do some refurbishments at Villa Park and that will be intertwined with building the team. He will be here in October for a longer visit and we`ll have more talks then."

I do think the Sun could have picked a slightly better picture mind you!? Click Here

After the old boy this guy is like a huge breath of fresh air. He makes you believe in him from the outset. No self-promotion, he's simply interested in the well being and progress of AVFC.
