The defender rumour mill goes on. Fulham centre back Zat Knight has again been linked to a winter transfer window move to Aston Villa. David O'Leary is known to be keen on bolstering his stuttering defence and a £2.5million bid could prize the 25 year old Solihull born Villa fan away from Craven Cottage.
Reports suggest that Zat, who has fallen down the Fulham pecking order this season, wants to return home to his Midlands roots.
The defender, who stands at 6 feet 5 inches (1.98 metres)high, has made 9 appearances for Fulham this season, which is nearly as many times as he has appeared in links to Villa!
He was signed by former boss Kevin Keegan in 1999 and made his debut for England in a friendly win over the USA in May 2005.
David O'Leary has also been linked with German international and Chelsea defender Robert Huth
