The AV Annual General Meeting has been postponed. It was due to be held on 29 September 2006, but will now take place 30 November 2006.

Stiliyan Petrov has told the official site that despite the 0-0 v Watford on Saturday, the goals will come for Aston Villa. Full article: Click Here

Juan Pablo Angel has set his sights on Europe. 'I think we've got the right man in charge to do it. He's been doing it for many years at Celtic and I can't see why we're not capable of getting into Europe this year. It'll be a great opportunity. Since I've been here the club has been up and down, up and down. We have to start getting consistency. A good football club is challenging for Europe every year. Everyone here wants to do that.' Maybe the club should look at the legalities of branding the players with a star on their forehead when they join us instead? Ok, maybe not! Full article: Click Here

Thought for the day: Ham and eggs. A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig.
