'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Thomas Sorensen Happy To Be Busy!

Thomas Sorensen has quite rightly come in for a lot of praise following his performance against Watford on Saturday.

The Danish international reflected: 'I haven't had a lot to do so far this season as the defence in front of me have played so well, so it was just nice to be kept busy for a change.'

He also said that Doug Ellis went in the dressing room after and told the players he was happy with the result. Sorensen explained, in an interview in the Post,

'He's been there longer than anyone can remember. But I hope he hangs around as he'll always be welcome at the stadium and the training ground. He came in and shook hands with everyone afterwards and said he was happy with the result. But I'm sure it won't be the last time we see him and that's great as he has meant a lot to the club. But the new man, who we met last week, has come in, it's new times at the football club.'

New times indeed, and winning times with luck!

I hope DHE said goodbye as well! Good job Sorenson had a good game cos he nearly gifted Harewood with a goal with an appalling backpass last week. Should do wonders for his confidence as I believe he's a confidence player. DOL for the Albion? (chuckle)

Is this the start of Dougie's Long Goodbye?

would rather he wasn't busy in all honesty but credit where credit is due he played very well on Saturday and appeared to be coming for crosses far more than in the past is Eric Steele stii coaching the keepers?

He has his lapses in concentration at times, but overall I genuinely believe that he's amongst the best in the premiership.
