Aston Villa Browns Backers

I thought this might be fun for us Villa fans: Villa Browns Backers Club Formed

The Browns Backers Worldwide welcomes a new club into its global community of Browns supporters. Just recently, the Aston (Villa) Browns Backers of Birmingham, England emerged and are set to kick off the Cleveland Browns football season with more than 48,000 current Browns Backers that span the globe.

With Browns owner Randy Lerner purchasing the Aston Villa Football Club, a soccer team in the English Premiere League, support for the Browns in Birmingham and surrounding areas has increased.

I've set up an email address for enquiries: brownsbackers@vitalfootball.co.uk and I've set up a Browns Backers forum and I'll invite Steve Maybury who runs the only established Backers in the UK 'the British Bulldawgs' (Essex) to see if his members want to join in on the forum as well.

I don't have all the information yet as I missed the delivery of the parcel from the Cleveland Browns today; but once I've got the details, I'll email all those who express an interest with details and post them on the forum.

The Backers currently have groups in 16 countries including Australia, Antartica, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, El Salvador, Israel, Japan, West Indies and Sri Lanka.

Maybe Randy can organise a claret and blue backers and get the yanks to buy our shirts - sort of mutual support - what about a brown away kit? And the Browns can put a bit of C & B in their away kit.

maybe we could do the exchange thing wit players? Hendrie has a bit of temper so could swap him for one of those big ass dudes they have and stick him in the middle of the park to chrunch players.
