Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by No1Villan, do Villa need a new keeper.

The majority, with 55%, said no and backed Thomas Sorenson.

31% said we did a change between the posts, 5% suggested using Stuart Taylor first and 9% remained on the fence saying they were undecided.

sorenson has good games but he does have some clangers too! taylor wont ever get a chance we could do with a class act between the posts

Oh come on. Give the guy a break. He has to be given an even chance just like the rest of the team. MON will deliver his verdict on this question in his on good time and we need not worry about pointless questions like this.

Still thinks he makes to many mistakes, think its not neccesarily a priority to buy one in January but within the next year definately.

I dont think we do. He's one of the better keepers in the premiership in my opinion, certainly no worse than the majority of others. Of the positions that need strengthening in our current squad, I would think that a new keeper falls somewhere down the list of priorities.

I think leave it all to martin o neil, he will decide wether aston villa need a new goalkeeper. I think sorenson will do the job this season.

There's a young goalkeeper doing the business on loan at Watford from Man United... Foster seems to have great potential and could be a star of the future, why not buy him now and he could take over from Sorensen in a few years?
