i honestly thought that Neville, Padfield or Still were gonne bid and make it a long running thing. JPF, you might know the answer, assuming he now has Ellis and Petcheys share of the club, can he start signing players immediately?

Great news. Fair play to Neville for withdrawing. Padfield has made a tool of himself, especially with the 70m comment. Hope I don't ever end up in front of him.

I echo Deano's fine sentiments. Long wondered if this day would ever come. Great pity it didn't arrive ten years or so ago, but today is not the day for looking back in anger. The club stands on the threshold of a brand new era, we should celebrate, enjoy, and look forward in eager anticipation at what is yet to come.
