No, I've not gone off my rocker and started a campaign to get Super Kev out, I'm just reporting that he is out of game against Newcastle tomorrow as his bug hasn't cleared up.
It will be interesting to see if O'Leary sticks with Angel and Baros up front like he did in Tuesday nights disaster v Doncaster Rovers. The under pressure boss (who has just been replaced as favourite for the sack by Souness!) said that Baros/Angel was the partnership he had in mind when he bought Baros from Liverpool. Then again, Angel hasn't exactly been setting the pitch alight with goals!
Phillips was missed on Tuesday night and was only able to make a substitutes appearance, putting more effort in over 31 odd minutes than half the players appeared to in the full 90!
I'd get young Luke Moore on and give him a full game. At least he will bleed claret and blue!
