62% said yes, they would accept it being sponsored as long as it was still Villa Park.

15% said yes, if it brought success.

2% said probably IF the brand was right - (my concern being they are sponsored by clothes manufacturer No Fear)

21% said no, Villa Park will always be Villa Park and for the first time ever 0% were unsure.

It's VILLA PARK and should remain so. I hope to one day take my youngest to VILLA PARK, as I have the other 3, then eventually my Grand kids, Not the Hersey Bowl or what ever God forsaken sponsor is found and the ground renamed.
still skeggy
if it was the "(for example) 32Red Villa Park" or something, i wouldn't mind, because it would still only be known as Villa Park.

If it brings in £60-100m in revenue then I wouldn't mind to be honest. We'll always know it as VP, and that's what matters.
BOF
I personaly do not mind as I will always refer to it as VP, If we get some big "bucks" in sponsorship and it is all for the good of the club then great

It is the way forward to have a sponsor put their name to a stadium for so many years and it brings in a huge revenue. Emirates paid £100 million to Arsenal which actually paid for a 1/4 of the stadium. If it happens at villa then it would not be so bad as everybody would still call it villa park bacause we will be in the same stadium unlike Arsenal who changed stadium.
deemz
but Arsenal's is actually monikered 'The Emirates Stadium AT Ashburton Grove'

The wind of change is blowing through the club (thankfully), and if down the road that means the tactful renaming of Villa Park to bring in valuable revenue, then that is more than acceptable to me.
glensider
Regardless of what they rename it to all Villa fans it will always be Villa Park.
