Don't Forget Doug Ellis?

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Villain of the North, whether Doug should be given a role under the new owners.

13% said no, he's a disgrace and a further 17% said WHY? A further 14% said they would shoot anyone who suggests it!!!

25% felt he should because he could be useful and 31% were pragmatic and said they should offer Doug a role IF it eases the takeover.

Doug has been offered a Presidential role for life by the bidders but it is guaranteed not to be a board role.

son-of-beelzebub damien from villa blog is posting a story that Neville isn't going to accept defeat. even if it is true, as a life-long villa fan, would he really try to slow up the lerner bid? he must know that the lerner option is the best option? please also note that the devils offspring is the only one running this story......

Don't get me wrong, I've wanted Ellis out for a long, long time. But credit where credit is due - he's leaving us in a pretty good position viz manager and owners. That said, get his name off our stand!
