Don't Forget Doug Ellis?

Don't Forget Doug Ellis?

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Villain of the North, whether Doug should be given a role under the new owners.

13% said no, he's a disgrace and a further 17% said WHY? A further 14% said they would shoot anyone who suggests it!!!

25% felt he should because he could be useful and 31% were pragmatic and said they should offer Doug a role IF it eases the takeover.

Doug has been offered a Presidential role for life by the bidders but it is guaranteed not to be a board role.

I'm sure that The Manace will get a hearty round of boo's from the Villa faithful next time he tries to stick his oar in.

I will never forget him, but obviously for all the wrong reasons! I will never forget how this tyrant nearly killed our once great football club!

Glad the ellis era is over, one more season with him at the helm and villa would have been doomed, just in the nick of time randy.UP THE VILLA.

son-of-beelzebub damien from villa blog is posting a story that Neville isn't going to accept defeat. even if it is true, as a life-long villa fan, would he really try to slow up the lerner bid? he must know that the lerner option is the best option? please also note that the devils offspring is the only one running this story......

The man close to destroyed the club, yet could walk away with a suggested 25m in his pocket. Get the hell out of B6 Ellis.

Don't get me wrong, I've wanted Ellis out for a long, long time. But credit where credit is due - he's leaving us in a pretty good position viz manager and owners. That said, get his name off our stand!
