Only BlueSquare.com are quoted but they have Doug Ellis at 4/7 favourite. :-(

Next up is the Neville consortium at 10/3.

Athole Still group comes in at 4/1 (despite reports saying there isn't a consortium led by Sven's agent).

The Randy Lerner group are now seen as long shots at 20/1 having ended their interest.

In the race to be manager, Martin O'Neil is still the firm bookies favourite, then Curbishley, Hoddle, Aitken and Souness: Click Here For Odds

Just asked for the odds for Doris the tea lady and Basil brush, they'll get back to me.
The Fear
The Fear I like you, who do you want as manager
trotski74
If Ellis remains in the chair, then the idiot will have wasted the full Summer twiddling his thumbs whilst Villa has decayed. There has to be a way of removing this arrogant man.
Gordonsleftboot
Yea boycotting Gordon, I live in oldham and I only make a few games but I have stopped buying shirts etc....
trotski74
Doug Ellis as 4/7 favourite. Well, the bookies aren't often wrong. As each day goes by it looks more and more as if Ellis will still be around come seasons end.
glensider
hi trotski74, someone small would be good for manager because I sit by the dug out and anyone to tall will block my view. Mind you, that won't be a problem now until Ellis goes I guess! Oh and I'm glad you like me, don't suppose you are a lovely girlie super model are you?! ;-))
The Fear
LOL no I am Doug Ellis jk
trotski74
lol, oh right, my mistake Doug. Sorry about all these nasty people, don't know why they are so mean to you, I think you are great.
The Fear
lol. But really who do you want as manager, O'neil ?
trotski74
I suggest David Brent, now he doesn't work for wernham hogg (?) he's a free agent, this could be a good move, everytime the villa fail to entertain he could come on and dance for the fans.
bobbyfett
Trotski74, only one man for the job, Martin O'Neil. Only my humble and all that, but seems the majority are all praying for the same man.
The Fear
Everyone......Villa for sale .......starting bid of 99p on ebay ....winning bid gets to keep HDE's zimmer frame!
Steve64k
just emailed a journalist friend of mine in the states to get his take on Randy Lerner and his objectives and business accumin. I'll post her comments when i get them.
Steve64k
I'm hoping for a Randy, O'Neil partnership. I think he'l still come in with an offer
Burnsy
No one is going to remove Doug Ellis without a fight, keep up the pressure and hopefully he'll get the message it's time to pack it in..... I'll die a Villa supporter but this has gone too far, He needs to go and leave us in peace to pick up the pieces. At this moment I'll support anyone that can get him out !!!!! I want again to tell people I support the villa wityh my head held high.
Barabus
Guys, spoke to a friend in the states, who is a reporter from cleveland. She says that Lerner felt that Ellis was exceptionately rude and there is no chance that he'll be back. He saw Villa as a quote 'interesting' opportunity. She did say that he has an interesting business 'style' and we will see.
Steve64k
I think we could hear from him again
