Latest Odds For Villa Manager

The latest odds for the next permanent manager at Aston Villa.

Martin O'Neil is now the bookies - as well as the fans - favourite with odds ranging from 5/4, 7/4 and 11/8.

Alan Curbishley has seen his odds lengthen, which you might expect as he doesn't want the job! You can get between 6/1 and 13/2.

Roy Aitken's odds have been lowered from 20/1 or above to as low as 6/1 with bet365 and as high as 10/1 with totesport.

Graeme Souness, who the fans are hoping doesn't come according to our last poll, is between 7/1 at Ladbrokes and 14/1 with ukbetting, betdirect, totesport etc.

Glenn Hoddle has odds of 4/1 with Ladbrokes, most others are 10/1.

Sam Allardyce is a steady 14/1.

Claudio Ranieri, aka the tinkerman, range from 14/1 - 20/1.

You can get Terry Venables and George Graham at odds of 25/1.

If you want anymore odds, I suggest you have a look yourself!

If no O'Neil, who do we want? I must say, I don't think that Vennables would be a bad bet but I don't know if he could sort the dressing room out, that said, maybe the dressing room has sorted itself out in the absence of the bringer of doom O'Leary.

I see that there are odds for Merson there too, wouldn't want him as manager but could be a good shout for assistant.
Villain Of The North
O'Neal is the number one bloke at a push i'd give it to Claudio. He couldn't Tinker with our small squad though.
Burnsy
I couldn't think of anyone else I'd want if we don't get O'Neill. Big Sam would be second choice at a push, but Venable and Graham have been out of the game too long and Souness and Hoddle are clowns. Ranieri possibly, but he wouldn't be my first choice. Basically it has to MON. He is by far the best man for the job
