Latest Odds For Villa Manager

Latest odds on the manager situation at Aston Villa. Some betting companies have suspended betting on Martin O'Neil as rumours grow that he will be coming if a consortium is succesful in removing Doug Ellis from power. Funny how Curbs has remained top of the running despite ruling himself out though?

Has Johnny Fear dropped out of the running?

Intereseing, today several rumours that Ranieri is in the frame, and i remeber him sayin around May time he would be interested in the job, yet there are no odds on him??
micsymmonds
Hey Micsymmonds, I don't suppose that you are the Mickey Symmonds that once played drums for Marillion are you? Nah, thouhgt not.
Villain Of The North
surprised plattys not in there or even andy gray
JASON
Trust me, if you were to appoint Platt, the problems you have now will be minuscule after he has butchered what decent parts of the squad you have left. Great player, but without doubt, the worst manager i have ever seen.

How would the appointment of Roy Aitken go down with the Villa faithful?
Dean
IMHO better than Hoddle/Souness but far from what we'd actually want. Or to put it another way, even if we don't get O'Neil, there are others that would hopefully come before we settle for Aitkin but not everyone would be better. I still vote for Dr Fear if we can't get O'Neil, at least he cares and we could all have a good laugh at the end of season awards dinner; we do all get an invite to that don't we Fear?
Villain Of The North
The appointment of a new manager surely is reliant upon other factors that hopefully will lead to the removal of HDE. I remember Ellis saying DOL would be his last manager (lets hope that is the truth, although unlikely) I would not trust Ellis to appoint a good replacement for DOL. I am beginning to get more and more worried re Souness or Hoddle as they would be cheap otions, the Ranieri rumours worry me as well. basically it has to be MON

Strange that Brian Little is not priced anywhere, especially after the remarks attributed to him on Friday.

There's some names in there which should strike fear into the hearts of Villa supporters. Peter Reid? Dave Jones? Lawrie Sanchez? Graeme Souness? Glenn Hoddle? I wouldn't want any of the above anywhere near Villa Park
DougInABox
I'd love to see Souness, Reid and Hoddle back in the Premiership - just not with Villa. That would be at least 3 teams we would finish above.

Whoever takes over we'l still have the same maneger interference. DOUG!
