'If It's Football, It's Vital'

WBA Albion Fan - 'Villa Are Huge'.

Even the fans of our opposition seem to understand the position Aston Villa finds itself in.

Despite supporting West Bromwich Albion, Ant Bailey from Vital WBA emailed me earlier admitting that Villa area huge club, he said:

'Midlands football is dying a death mate, Wolves and Villa are in major crisis at the moment, I don't think Wolves will have a side to put out at the start of the season.'

'Doug Ellis needs to sell up, the fans won't stand for another season like last year and I think it will be just a matter of time until he has to let go. He is taking the club backwards and will not attract the kind of manager that Villa deserve.'

'Villa are a huge club and should be challenging for European football not languishing at the bottom of the league, Ellis is the man to blame and if he wants to see Villa become great again in his life-time he needs to let go now.'

End.....

Well said !!!

he's only said what we all already know, although its certainly nice to hear it from our local rivals.

And as a Birmingham fan I agree fully with what he says too. Its a shame for you that Mr Ellis doesnt have the same opinion.

His right! Ellis is the man to blame! He needs to go, we need to rename the Witton Lane End the Ditto!

As a Wolves fan, he is right on many counts the most important thing is the Midlands no longer have a force in English football. It has happened in other sports and it is called a merger. Villa Park obviously would be the home ground, take the best of the youth talent from the three clubs, the best senior players, sell everything else and we might be in with a chance in 2 seasons, only thing is a name! Maybe The Birstonvilla Wolves?

BTW please ensure there is a clause in DOL's pay out contract that he cannot join another club within 150 miles of Villa Park, we dont have a manager and I am ******** scared.

You've got good reason to be hoddle, but I think he'll end up with the Mackems. Just as long as Glenn Hoddle stays the f*ck away from VP then we'll be happy too!
