Doug`s biggest decision (AVST)

The Aston Villa Supporters Trust are relieved that the situation regarding David O`Leary has been resolved swiftly. The whole summer has been a torrid time for the fans of Aston Villa Football Club and this news will act as a much needed boost to fan morale.

The decision made by Doug Ellis now represents possibly the most crucial managerial decision of his career. The Aston Villa Supporters Trust once again urges Doug Ellis to do right by the club and retire gracefully allowing fresh blood and a new manager to drive the club forward.

The club stands at a huge crossroads and only Doug Ellis can determine if the club follows the correct path.
