Arsenal v Villa Ticket News

Well, there is very little else in the news, apart from Patrik Berger looking forward to the new season, so I thought I'd bring you the ticket news for our opening day clash with Arsenal at their new Emirates Stadium.

The game takes place on Saturday August 19th.

Tickets £32 adults, £16 Under 16's & Over 65's.

Monday 24 July to Season Ticket Holders with a booking history of 6 away game purchases from last season (including this seasons pre season friendlies at Walsall, Hull and Wolves).

Wednesday 26 July to Season Ticket Holders with a booking history of 4 away game purchases from last season (including this seasons pre season friendlies at Walsall, Hull and Wolves).

Friday 28 July to Season Ticket Holders with a booking history of 2 away game purchases from last season (including this seasons pre season friendlies at Walsall, Hull and Wolves).

Monday 31 July to Season Ticket Holders

Wednesday 02 August any remaining tickets will go on general sale
Tickets are limited to one ticket per season ticket held that fit the qualifying criteria.

The way I understand it is that all of the Arsenal allocated tickets have been sold and the request to Aston Villa for another 5000 to replace all the season ticket holders that have not renewed has been approved by the AV board.

If I was an Arsenal supporter - and I'd rather cut off my head - I couldn't pick easier opponents to open a new stadium than the current Villa team under O'Leary's "leadership".
