Getting Shirty With The Chapel

Getting Shirty With The Chapel

Getting Shirty With The Chapel

I bought the new shirt Saturday, must say its alright.

Trouble is I'm not looking forward to the new season one bit.

Angel is talking cr@p stating he's looking forward to it, David O'Leary says Bouma will shine, I think not. He'll get injured early on and we wont see him for at least a quarter/half season. Laursen wont play again either I don't think.

Then we're advising Mellberg to leave (see current article following poll: Click Here ), the thought of seeing Ridgewell every week mortifies me and apparently we have the strongest squad in years ?

Jesus Christ ! Do Villa think us fans are complete retards ? I'm insulted...

Also, Stuart Taylor is challenging Sorensen for the #1 this coming season.... Please tell me what he was supposed to be doing last season then ?

Oh and one more thing.... apparently us fans are giving the thumbs up to the price freeze ? I'm not, it still daylight robbery watching a side managed by DOL with Herbert handling his strings. There has been so much publicity about us lately and how things are tight so what manager wants to work for Herbert. Even Alexander O'Neil wouldn't take the job, let alone Martin. Then again, I'm a sugarbag so I wouldn't know anything...

Life couldn't be better being a Villa fan.

I dont think you have a good season ahead - unless you get rid of O'Leary and get a decent manager in quick!

the shirt is a positive, although if that shirt Dan found turns out to be the new home design then the negative will come into the frame ;-)

I think we should save all the negativity until we actually get out onto the pitch. Angel is being positive, DOL is being positive. Why is that such a bad thing?

Because they are lieing and deep down know they are talking bowlocks. Its the same squad as last year and we nearly went down, what does that tell you for this coming season ?

It tells me that they realise they didn't perform and they realise that they can, and must, do better. I would be a lot more worried if the message emanating from Villa Park was "it will come right, we've just been unlucky".

Well said GaztonVilla. Two pieces of much needed optimism there. All's not 100% well at VP, we're all aware of that, but really is it all doom and gloom as many would have us believe?

dont worry we're just paying our dues, when we start winning it'll be all the sweeter! (alright i admit it, im a blind optimist)
