Nagging Wife Saves A Life?

David O'Leary's number two Roy Aitken has had surgery to remove a malignant tumour in his colon.

The Villa assistant manager told the official site, 'This was just a routine check, but thankfully everything is OK now. This just goes to show the value of these checks. My wife persuaded me to go along and it's just as well she did. We caught this at the right time. After the biopsy, the specialist told me: 'We've just won the World Cup' so I suppose I'll have a glass of champagne.'

Thank goodness for his wife then, get well soon Roy.

Three cheers for Mrs Aitken. Get well quickly Roy. We need someone showing that special brand of passion on the touchline next season.
