Villa - We Are Not Leeds

We are not Leeds.

Sorry, Doug Ellis is on holiday at the moment so I thought I would step into the breach and in his absence tell everyone 'we are not Leeds'.

Not heard it mentioned by Doug for at least a month and so I thought doing this was a public service and should save any confusion.

;-)

And for non Villa fans who have no idea what that all means, anytime a fan or shareholder asks why Villa are in such a bad state, Doug says we are not Leeds.

At least they lived the dream for a few seasons before they headed off into the sunset. :(

I would prefer not to live the dream and at least stay in the top flight? On a different note will England win with Erickson as Manager?. I for one do not think so, I promise that is not an Irish anti England think, I would love to see England win.

Viial may not be Leeds, but sadly we're not MUTD, Arsenal, Chelski or Liverpool either. England winnig the WC? Possible but I personally rank us as number 3 or 4, so hopefully we should make the semis. However, with a bit of luck we could make the final and then anything is possible, remember, Wimbledon once beat the mighty Liverpool in the FA cup final.

No, maybe we aint Leeds, but in regards to selling off our better players, we certainly seem intent on copying their fall from grace.

Exactly Glensider. They got to the champions league semi final before their fall from grace. What have we got and we seem to be heading down the same road. I wonder if Doug has goldfish in his office?
