Villa Midfielder Is A Turkey?

Villa Midfielder Is A Turkey?

According to Tim Nash of the Express & Star, Djemba-Djemba is a Turkey.

Sorry, misread the report, he actually says he is wanted in Turkey.

Apparently both Galatasary and Fenerbache are chasing the Djemba twins signature.

Jumper Jumper has also been linked to Paris Saint Germain, Sporting Lisbon and Porto, with prices in the region of £1million being mentioned.

Thing is, IF all these clubs ARE interested, why haven't they bid? What are they waiting for? They have a club willing to sell and a player looking to move, so what is the delay about?

The report in the E&S also suggests the price on Jlloyd Samuels head is just £1m and Hendrie would be available for just £500k. IF those figures are right, then we would be much better off keeping both players.

I honestly thought he could do the business at Villa, its a shame it didn't work out. Good luck Djemba..

I think he's burned his bridges in England, so moving abroad is obviously the only alternative open to him. Have read elsewhere that we have privately accepted that we may have to loan him out for twelve months to help generate interest in a permanent deal. Is that really the way to go? Seems that Ellis would be happy to save on the players salary. Are we really that hard up?

Surely, as when buying him you actually get twins, we could ask for double the fee ;-)

we shouldnt even be in this situation...why on earth oleary has a policy of buying players only to either send on loan or not play is beyond me (re berson and the twins) i can understand why deadly wont handover more cash to him...only two of his signings have improved the squad...sorensen/no better than the fat dutchman now at wolves - mccann/no better than the hammer - hughes/ave season - bouma/poor first season - laursen/injured 99% - berger/injured 99% - SOLANO/GOOD BUT SOLD - MILNER/GOOD BUT ONLY LOANED - baros/not keen ....around £17million spent with no real improvement.

The sticking point is probably the fee of around £1m... Ellis probably feels he is over valued and is waiting for a £500k bid, before excepting.
