Villa Striker Needs Moore Spinach!
Luke Moore is looking to add a bit of muscle to help him build on last seasons eight goal (in 16 games) tally.
He needs some spinach. Well? It never did Popeye any harm!
Moore, who was dropped 'to shake him up a bit' at a time when he was our top Premiership scorer, told the official site:
'I'm going to fill out a bit more. You shouldn't spend too much time worrying about expectation; you need to believe in yourself. I think that people develop in different stages. The Premiership is a high standard and it takes time to get used to. Some people like Wayne Rooney take to it straight away, others take time. If you look around, you would see that Shaun Wright-Phillips was talked about a lot when he broke into Manchester City's team. Then he dropped out. When he eventually got back in, he was a lot stronger and stayed there. A lot of people tend to do that. Different people blossom at different times.'
Adding: 'Last year the strikers were struggling. I had games where I felt comfortable, but I wasn't scoring. Last season I felt more comfortable and I was scoring goals. As long as I've got my goals, then I know that I did my job.'

Very true, thought Davis got muscled out a fair bit last season, especially with the physical sides like Bolton, but again, he is looking a great prospect, played really well last year and is nowhere near the finished article, could be a real gem!

Davis will be quality, the goals will come (he had a fair return for a midfielder considering where we finished and the amount of goals we scored)
He'll fill out and will control games with his passing and vision (lets just hope its for the claret and blue and not the red of united of liverpool)

Sorry but just have to say this,Davo Captained Northern Ireland not Ireland.Two different countries mate.Northern Ireland play people from their country unlike Ireland who try to get every one not deemd good enough for england.eg Cahill
