Baros Most Likely To Leave Villa?
Vital Villa asked which player was most likely to be sold this summer in what many expect to be a pivotal close of season.
The majority - with 43% - believe Baros will be sold to fund team rebuilding. 25% say all the options will be sold because we are a selling club. 18% said record signing Juan Pablo Angel will be departing.
Just 6% said Steven Davis despite the fact Villa have no money and Manchester United are reportedly sniffing around the Northern Ireland international midfielder. 5% said Olof Mellberg and only 3% thought Gareth Barry, who has been - in my humble opinion - the stand out player of the season.
What is for sure, IF we have to sell to buy - and that is what Ellis has said - then we will never build a squad capable of challening to even finish 6th.

As a Villa Fan i am at Rock bottom.
There is a club i love with a manager and Chairman i wouldn't cross the road to slap and what looks like a mass exodus of players in the summer. I just want one thing from our wonderful club; Hope. and Passion. Two things; Hope, passion and good football. Three things. Hope passion and good football.

Hope and passion and good football sums up perfectly the criteria that would satisfy most supporters...yet somehow DOL translates this as we all expect to win the league. If only he took the time to speak to the fans he might have realised this and not got himself quite as hated as he is.

Going back to the 'Which player will most likely be sold' topic, I wouldnt be in the least bit surprised to see Olof Mellberg pack his bags either, joining Baros through the exit door. From those two 'major' sales would come the funds to finance the rebuilding (what a joke).

At the end of the day baros has always thought he was too god for the club and is the sort of player who should be playing europen football, not fighting for survival. Just like Villa.

And i wouldn't blame any of the Villa players for wanting to leave because they are at a club with a manager and chairman that have no passion, ambishion or ability to do the job they are paid for
