Villa Reserves Title Decider

The Villa reserves play Manchester United reserves in what could be a title decider on Saturday (22nd April) at Tamworth FC with an 11am kick off.

Admission is free for Season Ticket holders. Adults (£2) and concessions (£1).

Villa are three points behind Manchester United at the top of the league with a game in hand.

The official site says:

'So, with no first-team action this weekend, get along to The Lamb on Saturday and cheer the Young Lions on.'

And if anyone goes, do us a favour and send a match report in!

If the reserves are almost top of the league shouldn't we put those guys out as the first team and send all of the first teamers to play in the reserves?

Good luck to them. Wea lways seem to do well in the Academy and Reserves leagues, why can't it rub off on the first team?

Considering we have fielded on many occasions a very young, inexperienced reserve team, Kevin Macdonald and co have performed an outstanding job in obtaining consistently impressive performances from hopefully the Villa Park stars of the future.
