O'Leary See's Villa Fans Rocking!

David O'Leary has thanked the fans for the support they gave the team today in the 3-1 victory over Blues. I don't think I'll ever get bored of saying that, the 3-1 victory over the Blues!

He told the official site after the 3-1 victory over the Blues: 'I was delighted for the fans, delighted for the players and for everyone associated with the club. Villa Park was absolutely rocking today and seeing what can be done makes me all the more determined to be the man to put things right here.'

It was certainly the first time O'Leary has seen the Holte End in full voice since his arrival 3 seasons ago, he added:
'I was proud of the players. They rose above the physical battle and played a bit of football today. We ran out deserved winners.'

He was also surprised at the height that Cahill jumped to score the second goal admitting in the Sky interview after the game that not only had he never scored a goal like that but that he would never have been able to jump so high!!

He finished saying: 'Hopefully now we can stop looking over our shoulders and concentrate on finishing as high as possible.'

Got to be the best atmosphere we've had at Villa Park for 3-4 seasons? Can't think of many better that is for sure.
