No Regrets But Still An Exit?

Oh dear. Although Milan Baros has said he doesn't regret moving to Villa, he certainly doesn't rule out a move away from Villa Park in the summer!

Baros, it was confirmed, has a 'get out clause' in his contract if a sufficient bid is placed and Spanish club Villarreal have already been linked to a £9million bid.

Baros told the official site:

'It is not true I am unhappy here. I don't regret joining Villa. I am an Aston Villa player and it is useless to speculate about what will happen in July in the middle of April.'

Adding: 'I will concentrate on Villa's last six fixtures and then on the World Cup. I don't want to think about anything else at present. It would not be fair on my team-mates and the club and we want to finish this season well.'

O'Leary said: 'We don't want Milan to go but if the get-out clause was invoked it would mean the club making a substantial profit on the fee we paid to Liverpool. Milan has had a good goal return this season in terms of a goals and games ratio, despite having a niggling injury early on and settling into a new club. I think he will do even better next season.'

Baros has 6 Premiership goals in 19 starts (also 3 sub appearances). He also has 3 FA Cup and 1 League Cup goals.
