Milner's Bye Bye To Season?
Aston Villa are waiting for the results of tests done to get to the bottom of James Milner's illness.
Milner has had to sit out the last two games with what is believed to be a virus. A reporter asked O'Leary last night at the post match conference if the rumours were true that the on loan player has glandular fever.
O'Leary answered: 'The medical staff haven't told me that is the case unless you have spoken to some of the medical team I don't know.'
A report on the official site says the club are still waiting for the results.
O'Leary added: 'He's had a series of tests and we'll have to wait and see what the verdict is. Hopefully we'll know more over the next couple of days and we're keeping our fingers crossed, because James is an important player for us.'
Lets hope it is just a virus, if it is glandular fever, he can wave bye-bye to this season.

Lets just hope whoever the press guy was, that he has the wrong info. Gladular fever is horrible, it leaves you totally drained.

The worry is that whatever he's got Lee Hendrie may have caught it too, as his absence last night was also put down to 'illness' wasn't it?

Losing Milner for the remainder of the campaign will be a huge blow. He's been one of the shining lights in a truly abysmal season. Hopefully for the young man it isnt glandular fever, and that he can fully recover and enjoy a very successful career, be it at B6 or wherever.
