Shares Up Over 25%
Seems there might be some substance in the latest takeover rumours. Shares are up 96p, which is a rise of over 25% on the £3.70 they were trading at.
Now usually you would say that this is just investors buying because of the rumours, but last time we had a rumour they went up to around £3.90 - £3.96 To rise by nearly a pound takes a fair amount of buying and to my knowledge, there weren't a great deal of shares available on the free market for Villa.
Hmmm.
