The jury is still out. If we maintain our current league position and lose to Boro in the cup then poor. Get in the semi final or better and most fans will be appeased.

Are you worried that Alan Curbishley might leave for the England job or do you think he has had his time at Charlton now and that you could do with a fresh direction?

I think that Martin O'Neill will be the next England manager. Curbs future will lie in how well the team does - if he gets them into Europe via the cup for example I think he'll stay.

Who should Villa watch out for on Saturday?

Darren Bent and if he starts, Darren Ambrose.

Which players - if any - do you fear in the Villa team?

Don't tend to think of Villa as a team containing any particular stars, although I believe Moore is the latest hero.

What is your opinion of Aston Villa? Are we a big club, sleeping giant, an also ran or a has been?!?!

Still a big club but not as big as you used to be. Nothing a stinking rich Russian couldn't remedy though!

What do you make of David O'Leary as a manager, the Villa fans largely don't seem too impressed.

Thought he was great in the early days at Leeds, but seems to have lost his way. Got a hunch that he could be the type of manager that holds grudges. Eight hundred and how many games for Arsenal and he still doesn't seem to hold them in particularly high esteem...

Realistically, where do you think Charlton will finish this season and would the position be good enough?

Ninth, but as I said I think the cup is our best hope now.

2-1 Charlton.
